How to Get Involved with the Irish Naturist Association (INA)

The Irish Naturist Association (INA) is more than just an organisation — it’s a community built on respect, body positivity, and a shared love for naturism. Whether you’re new to the idea or a seasoned naturist, there are many ways you can participate, contribute, and connect with others.

It’s totally normal to feel a bit unsure about where to start.

Here’s how you can get involved at your own pace:

1. Attend an INA Event

The best place to start is by joining one of our events. We host regular open nude meetups at designated beaches and organise scenic nude hikes in nature. These relaxed gatherings are a fantastic way to meet like-minded people and experience the freedom that naturism offers. If you decide to become a member, you’ll gain access to our indoor nude swims, which are held at venues across Ireland. These events provide a comfortable, private setting to enjoy naturism in any season.

2. Suggest New Locations

As you get more familiar with INA events, your input becomes invaluable. Members are encouraged to suggest new locations for future hikes or swims. Whether it’s a quiet cove, a forest trail, or a suitable indoor venue, your suggestions help keep our events fresh, exciting, and accessible to members across the country.

3. Become a Beach Ambassador

If you’re someone who enjoys organising and welcoming others, consider becoming a beach ambassador. Ambassadors help coordinate beach meetups, assist newcomers, and ensure everyone has a positive experience. It’s a rewarding way to give back to the community and play a leadership role in local gatherings.

4. Volunteer Behind the Scenes

Much of INA’s success comes from the dedication of volunteers. If you have skills in admin, event planning, social media, design, or communications, there’s a place for you to help.

From managing our newsletter to supporting event logistics, your talents can make a real difference.

5. Share Your Story

We’re always looking for members to contribute to our blog and newsletter. You might want to write about your journey into naturism, share thoughts on body acceptance, or recount a memorable event. Your voice can inspire others, challenge misconceptions, and build a stronger, more relatable community.

6. Represent INA at Public Events

When INA takes part in public outreach events—like wellness fairs, body positivity workshops, or cultural festivals—we welcome members to represent the organisation. It’s a chance to engage with the broader public, promote naturism, and help curious individuals feel more comfortable exploring this lifestyle.

7. Engage Online

Our online spaces are just as important as our in-person events. By participating in discussions, sharing content, or simply staying connected through our social media and members’ platforms, you help build a supportive community that extends beyond physical meetups.

Join In — Naturally

Getting involved with the INA is about more than attending events — it’s about community, connection, and contributing to a more open, body-positive Ireland.

Whether you’re dipping your toe in or diving right in, there’s a place for you here.

You’re Not Alone — And You’re Welcome Here

Naturism in Ireland isn’t just for one type of person. It’s for anyone who believes in freedom, respect, and being comfortable in your own skin.

If you’ve ever thought, “This might be for me” — it probably is.
